As We Enter Our Second Century, What Does the Woman's Club Do for Our Community Today?

We underwrite college scholarships for graduating high school seniors.

The club distributes about $9,000 in scholarships every year to graduating seniors of character and need, who live or go to school in New Trier Township, or who are dependants of Village employees. This scholarship program has distributed nearly $85,000 in recent years.


We maintain our historic Clubhouse for community use.

In addition to being the site of our own philanthropic, fund-raising events, our historic Clubhouse on the Village Green serves the community at large - for example, the annual Veterans' Day Memorial Service sponsored by the club.

The scholarships and clubhouse maintenance/restoration are financially supported by proceeds from our fund-raising projects, including (but not limited to) our "Lifestyles" Housewalk in May and Annual Estate and Rummage sale.
